Their accompanying guardians or parents might be polite enough not to tell you outright that your party bombed, but kids will tell you the real score to your face, much to the disappointment of your child, whose benefit was the one you had in mind when you threw the party in the first place. Thus, before you decide to go DIY on the birthday party you're planning, you have to spend some time thinking what kinds of entertainment and activities you will have. Never mind spending too much effort and energy on what food you're going to serve. Place much of your attention to the games and activities that will make your child's party the most memorable. Entertainment mainly refers to games. Thus, you have to have several activities planned to keep the birthday celebrator and his or her guests out of boredom. Fun Childrens Party Games A children's party would be nothing without enough entertainment, especially since kids pay more attention to how the party is planned and carried out than types of food are being served. Thus, if you want your child's party to be a total blast, you need to think up fun children's party games that would have him or her and the guests talking about the event for days. You don't really need to come up with new dishes. You can simply rename and redecorate regular party fare, like spaghetti, burgers, hotdogs and cupcakes, to make them look and sound according to the theme you chose. If you have a Halloween party, for instance, you can renamed spaghetti into 'blood and guts'. As soon as everyone figures out the right buddy, let them sit again beside their "Farm Buddies". Fruit Basket Form a circle with chairs. The chairs should be one less than the number of players. The person standing says,"I'm grateful for (a characteristic, outfit or state of a person)" and every child with that characteristic stands up and scurries for another chair to sit on. Make sure you inform your guests what kind of party you're throwing so they can bring their suits and a change of clothes. Animal Party You can rent out farm animals and bring them to your yard for the kids to pet, or you can ask your guests to bring in their own pets. This birthday party idea not only opens the kids' eyes to different kinds of animals, but also enhances their social skills.
