Kids' Parties: Kitty Flanagan

One party game raved about by young and old guests alike is Charades. For your young guests, you can have participants guess animals and objects by having one of them act out what the animals do, while the rest try to guess what animals they are. The Pinata is a staple at almost any children's party. One good way to keep the kids interested in the entire event is to host a themed party. A themed event is easier to pull off because you have only one look and feel to work with. For example, if you intend to throw a fairy themed party for children, the young guests may be asked to come in costumes (fairies or elves) and you can have the whole venue decorated to look like pixie forest. This birthday party idea not only opens the kids' eyes to different kinds of animals, but also enhances their social skills. Make sure the animals you bring in are tame and friendly, and have been given their necessary shots (just in case something happens). There are many other children's birthday party ideas out there. Also, while you might be tempted to serve a lot of high-sugar foods and candies, you need to control them. You can compensate for the lack in sweets by using fun food coloring on breads, cupcakes and others. Of course, no fuss party food doesn't mean you shouldn't plan ahead. While most of these no fuss meals are easily available in supermarkets and bake shops, you have to be careful that none of the foods your serve contain potential allergens, like nuts. If your child admired the recent movie Pirates Of The Carribean and just would not remove that black patch on his eye, then you should think about giving your little critter a Pirate Party. This kind of party is inclusive of the treasure hunting and lady kidnapping and all the other things a pirate would entertain himself with. If you're having a costume party, you need to urge your young guests to come in a costume according to your theme, or to their choosing. Making invitations and planning the guest list is as fun as planning the party. Apart from the entertainment and food you have in mind, your child's party would be very boring without the guests, especially the ones who are nearer to your baby's age.
