Some species are living in deserts while others live in rainforest. Even a few species have their dwelling in sea. These are referred as marine iguanas. The iguana should take a bath at least thrice in a week. You should take care of you iguanas for their safety. Some iguanas will have fun while bathing whereas other may get frightened. Managing your Iguana: You should handle your iguana to tame him in such a way that it is disciplined and trained. You can use a spotlight for this purpose. Heat tape, under tank heaters and ceramic lights are some of the other alternatives. The Food: The food given to iguana should be healthy and nutritious. You can follow a diet plan for them in consultation with an expert. The iguanas normally eat plants, vegetables and fruits. But otherwise, they are calm and fearful and run away, if you go nearer to them. These species are gradually getting endangered. Those found abundantly in wild earlier are getting vanished. The major causes are cutting of forests. Consequently, they lose the place to live. Moreover, they fall a prey to animals and human beings also eat them in many islands.
