Local police departments, colleges, and even the local YMCA will often offer classes in the art of women's self defense. These courses are designed to bring in women from all spheres of society and in any age bracket. One should never concern themselves about their physical ability or handicaps as a good women's self defense class will address all needs for the fairer persuasion. The newly skilled woman many now discover that they would like to participate in some sort of cardiovascular enterprise to enable themselves to be confident of the ability to escape from a potentially harmful situation. Once you use the pressure point, try to hyper extend the joint that is now trying to get away from your pressure. You want to extend the joint away from the natural direction it will bend. You can be taught women's self defense techniques over and over again, but if you do not practice what you have learned you will be taken by surprise should that attack ever take place. Remember use your common and be aware of your surroundings. The best women's self defense is your awareness and your alertness.
