Women's Self Defense Seminar

You can be taught women's self defense techniques over and over again, but if you do not practice what you have learned you will be taken by surprise should that attack ever take place. Remember use your common and be aware of your surroundings. The best women's self defense is your awareness and your alertness. Women need to know how to defend themselves and how to protect themselves from diverse situations that could cause harm or even death. If a woman chooses not to defend herself, her possessions, sexual virtues, and even life could be at stake. The statistics show if a man is walking down the street alone and a woman is walking down the same street, the woman has an 80% more chance of being attacked, robbed, or raped than a man. School systems also often sponsor learning seminars which will include a class in women's self defense. In addition, many local agencies sponsor these instructional classes for little or no cost. Local police departments, colleges, and even the local YMCA will often offer classes in the art of women's self defense. The attacker cannot see because the pepper stings the eyes and makes them burn and water. While the attacker is wiping his eyes you have a chance to run to safety. The pepper spray also causes a massive amount of salvia and nasal discharge to come out of the nose and mouth. So not only can your attacker not see you, they are also dealing with breathing which is difficult because of the amount of fluid in the both the nose and the mouth. With a combination of martial arts and other lethal methods, the woman will be able to take a man off his feet and disable him from further attack. The hand to hand training takes place in about two days, far more women's self defense than you would get in a hour class at the YMCA. The next phase of women's self defense in the military is bayonet training. In this professional setting, the woman can obtain expert guidance in recognizing the root of her fear and why she feels so used and worthless. The counselor can lead her through the events of the day that had leaded her to the point of the attack. The victim can then focus on the attack itself and what she could be in control of and what she could not be control of.
