AHA Workplace Safety Training Initiative

There should be no loose electrical wirings, everything must be covered with appropriate insulators. Regulations on fire and electrical safety should be made. Employees should always be informed about any safety regulation. Health Hazards Global pandemics have happened before, they could happen again. The usual cause is the employee not saying no to requests or not discussing the problem for fear of losing the job. For this reason, it is important for the worker to occasionally say "no" if the request is unreasonable and site the reasons as needed. The employee must ensure that workloads, working conditions, environment in the workplace has to be brought to the attention of other people within the organization in order to find solution to issues. - Incorporating the safety responsibilities of each employee to their job descriptions as well as -performance evaluations. - Establishing programs that recognize the individual contributions of employees to the safety efforts of the organization. Involvement Employees are in direct contact with tools, equipment, machineries, and appliances that make them vulnerable at work. When workplace safety measures are effectively implemented, it improves company profitability, promotes brand equity, and creates savings in terms of bottom line expenses for compensation, health, and insurance benefits aside from expenses on probable litigation. Due to a very wide variable by which accidents could happen, workplace safety is a continuing process. When the job slows due to improper housekeeping, the employee must understand that productivity goes hand in hand with job security. The employee must keep the space under his influence tidy before break time and before starting work. There is such a thing as organized chaos promoted in many quarters. Welcomed, yes, but that does not encourage them to ask questions. The language and the terminologies used that the new worker assumes as common knowledge to everyone makes him feel more inadequate that there is often a decision to keep silent and just "wing it". Feeling out of place is a common reaction that the new worker will more likely ask the questions for later.
