One of the major reasons why people go on a diet is due to obesity, which increases the risk for cardio-vascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, kidney and liver problems, among many others, especially with skin care practice, since many internal organ conditions are mirrored on skin appearance and conditions, based on many research studies One of the most glaring of which is how the skin appears dull or have dark spots, especially along the folds of the skin for obese or overweight individuals, with some also having dark areas on the nose, neck, elbows and knees. There are varying skin types ranging from oily to dry skin and one may be able to tell which skin type he or she has. Knowing your skin type is key in determining the type of cleanser that you will need for basic skin cleaning. If you are having difficulty trying to determine which skin type you have, you can consult a dermatologist or skin care expert for advise on which ones are appropriate for your skin type. This is actually a no-no for all skin types but all the more important for people with oily skin. 4. Be consistent with your treatment In taking care of oily skin, it is important that you are consistent with your treatment. Most people with oily skin will probably be asked to use cleansers and then toners. Although the skin is the most common area treated by the procedure, it is also done on the neck, chest, arms, hands or any area that are damaged by the sun. It is also used for skins with irregular pigmentation such as sun spots and melasma; those with irregular and rough skin; and even those with some wrinkles and stretch marks. So, people with sensitive skins should learn to choose the products that they will be using to ensure that they will not be suffering from any allergic reactions. Although people will largely determine this through trial and error, they should still stay away from products that are abrasive on the skin or those that are not for mild skins. Enlarged pores Although this is not really much of a problem as compared to wrinkles and lines in the face, some people are still worried about this as large pores are more prone to acne and pimple problems. This is because dead skin cells and grime tend to clog the pores, leading to acne. Solution: There is actually nothing that one can do with large pores as we are gifted with this from birth.
