Women self-defense

In the past, the prospective date would be known to the woman, or at least known by the woman's friends or relatives. In this instance, one could be relatively assured that their date would treat them well and behave like a gentleman. Today, though, the "blind date" can be an individual who has actively misled the woman by falsifying his intentions, past bad behaviors, and even criminal convictions. Women's self defense instructors advocate that you defend yourself and run, but if your are kidnapped you probably will have to deal with a life threatening situation immediately. The single woman who is having an early dinner with friends may believe her parking spot is ideal because it secluded and her new car will not be damaged. However, upon exiting the restaurant at a later time, she now finds that her car is in a dark and dangerous place. It is imperative that a woman look at the environment she places herself in.
